Cancer. We just learned about neoplasia in pathology — it was pretty interesting. Cancer cells are like abducted-by-alien cells… I can see why people go into oncology.
Here’s an article from the NYTimes.com about cancer and how some of them actually will vanish without any treatment. That’s not to encourage the scared-to-go-to-the-doctor-folks that you should just leave them [...]

Today is Oscar’s 7th birthday! Wow, where did the time go? He’s at home with my mom right now and I think it’s safe to say, he is definitely enjoying life as the only dog.
Oscar was my ‘first’ dog, meaning he was the first dog I got on my own. I got him after I [...]

Thank GOD we have these… it’s only a 3-day weekend, but I will take it!
So, Tudor is growing every day… of course, he was the runt of the litter, but now he’s getting longer and taller each day so who knows how big he’ll really get! I do really like him and now that we [...]

Just kidding! Well, hopefully. I thought 1st semester sucked the life out of me… 2nd semester sucked it out and obliterated it into little particles!
Where have I been? Here. Just running around like a crazy person… before we saw that I was fostering a cat. Then I ended up with two puppies. That was not [...]

I like how things happen in life that make you appreciate what you previously took for granted. I’m not saying I hate St. Kitts — I’m just saying that I never realized how easy and convenient things can be here in the U.S.. I never realized how much I missed my car, Mr. [...]

This is something I’ve been wanting to write about for a while… I never really made the time because of the recent slew of tests but now that it’s over for a bit, now’s my chance!
As stated in the heading… this is JUST MY OPINION. I cannot emphasize this enough because I know I’m asking [...]

I can’t even call it procrastination. I’ve been studying a lot this weekend and I just can’t seem to do it tonight… I’m lacking so much focus I don’t quite know what to do with myself! It’s not like I’ve been studying all day… I was awoken early this morning by a text message so [...]

My new point-and-shoot camera is here! It’s a Fuji FinePix Z20fd. I’m still trying to figure things out on it but my main thing with digital cameras are that they take decent photos indoors in low light… since that’s been the atmosphere of my apartment living so far. This camera isn’t the best in that [...]

Got back from No. VA on Sunday and have been going non-stop…
So much left to do, yet not. I have to get serious and start packing, for real. At least I bought my luggage — ended up with TravelPro instead of Eagle Creek just because it was light, it was there and it looked like [...]
